Mama’s Magic Shell Yogurt
Nutritious & delicious twist on yogurt!
Essential Pregnancy Nutrients:
Fiber: Granola/Cereal, Banana, Berries, Flaxseed
Omega 3: Flaxseed
Vitamin C & Potassium: Banana
Magnesium: Peanut Butter
- 1 container plain, full fat yogurt
- 1/2 tbsp ground flax seed
- 1/2 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/4 cup mashed berries
- 1 tbsp unsalted natural peanut butter (or preferred nut butter or sun butter)
- 1/2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup granola (or cereal)
- 1-2 tbsp walnuts (or peanuts), unsalted and chopped
- 1/4 chocolate chips, melted
Add flax seed, banana, berries, peanut butter, honey, vanilla, and granola to the yogurt container and stir.
Top with melted chocolate and chopped nutsFreeze for at least 10 minutes (we like to do 30 minutes).
Freeze for at least 10 minutes (we like to do 30 minutes).
Serving Size: 2 cups
