Mama’s Magic Shell Yogurt 

Nutritious & delicious twist on yogurt!

Essential Pregnancy Nutrients:

Fiber: Granola/Cereal, Banana, Berries, Flaxseed

Iron: Granola/Cereal

Omega 3: Flaxseed

Vitamin C & Potassium: Banana

Magnesium: Peanut Butter

Magic Shell Yogurt

Ingredients:

  • 1 container plain, full fat yogurt
  • 1/2 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1/2 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/4 cup mashed berries
  • 1 tbsp unsalted natural peanut butter (or preferred nut butter or sun butter)
  • 1/2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup granola (or cereal)
  • 1-2 tbsp walnuts (or peanuts), unsalted and chopped
  • 1/4 chocolate chips, melted

PREPARATION

  1. Add flax seed, banana, berries, peanut butter, honey, vanilla, and granola to the yogurt container and stir.

  2. Top with melted chocolate and chopped nutsFreeze for at least 10 minutes (we like to do 30 minutes).

  3. Freeze for at least 10 minutes (we like to do 30 minutes).

  4. Enjoy!

Serving Size: 2 cups

Prep Time: 5-10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes
