Merry Grilled Cheese

Upgraded and healthy grilled cheese sandwich!

Essential Pregnancy Nutrients:

Vitamin A: Carrots

Fiber: Carrots, Beets & Apple

Folate: Beets

Vitamin C: Apples



  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 cups beets, chopped
  • 2 apples, diced
  • Fresh lemon juice, 1 lemon
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • Sea salt, to taste


Servings: 2-4

Prep Time: 10 minutes


  1. Cut apples and beets.
  2. Mix together the carrots, beets, and apples.
  3. Make the dressing by mixing the lemon juice, olive oil, and sea salt to taste.
  4. Toss the veggies with the dressing and top with sunflower seeds.​
  5. Enjoy
